How to get there

Take the T1 Tram to Gulhane or Sultanahmet station. Many visitors enter from the Gulhane Park side, which is one of the easiest ways to reach the palace entrance.

Facilities on site

Restrooms, seating areas, and a cafe are available inside the palace complex. Some sections also have shade, but the site is very large.

Practical tips

Bring a light jacket for the windy terraces and make sure your phone is fully charged for the audio guide.

Food & nearby cafes

There is a restaurant (Konyali) inside the 4th courtyard with amazing views, but it is a bit expensive. There are many cafes in the nearby Sultanahmet square.
